Delete your account

How to request account deletion for Loop Africa

We respect your right to control your personal data. You can delete your Loop Africa account directly in the app, or by contacting our support team.

1 Delete in the app (recommended)

The fastest way is directly in the Loop Africa app:

1. Open the Loop Africa app on your device
2. Go to the Profile tab (bottom right)
3. Tap Settings (gear icon)
4. Scroll down and tap "Delete Account"
5. Review what will be deleted
6. Confirm by tapping "Close Account"

Your account is immediately disabled and your data is queued for deletion.

2 Request deletion by email

If you can't access the app, email us:

hello@loop.africa

Please include:

Subject: "Account Deletion Request"
The email associated with your account
Your full name (as registered)
Reason for deletion (optional)

We process requests within 7 business days and send a confirmation email.

What happens when you delete

⚠ Account deletion is permanent and cannot be undone.

Personal data deleted: Your profile, preferences and saved items are permanently removed.
Booking history removed: Your past booking records are deleted from your account.
Subscriptions cancelled: Any active subscriptions are automatically cancelled.
Credits forfeited: Any unused Loop credits in your account are lost.
No recovery possible: You won't be able to recover your account or any associated data.

Data retention notice

In line with legal and regulatory requirements, we may retain certain anonymised transaction records for accounting and compliance. This data cannot identify you personally and is kept solely for business record-keeping with our partner studios.
